LeLOUP – A fire destroyed a house in the 4700 block of Texas Road east of LeLoup this morning. Rural firefighters battled the blaze much of the late morning and early afternoon. Master Deputy Jarod Fredricks said the fire started in the back of the house but the cause remains to be investigated. The family is out-of-state on vacation and apparently no one was in the house when the fire occurred, Fredricks said. There was no immediate estimate of damage, he said.
