GARNETT — Charges of child molestation against a 30-year old Garnett man will be heard by an Anderson County jury on April 25. Michael Stevens, Jr., faces two felony counts of aggravated criminal sodomy and one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. The Anderson County Review reported that the charges stem from after incidents in March and April last year involving the 7-year-old son of a woman he lived with in Garnett. The mother testified during a preliminary hearing last fall that her son told her of fondling and oral sex involving Stevens. Stevens is in the Anderson County jail in lieu of $500,000 bond.
