GARNETT – Anderson County Hospital’s Long-Term Care unit has been named one of the best nursing homes in Kansas by U.S. News & World Report’s annual best nursing homes list. U.S. News rankings are built on data from a consumer Web site run by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services that compares nursing homes. Anderson County Hospital’s Long-Term Care Unit received five stars – the highest overall rating – from CMS. The categories ranked include quality measures, nurse staffing and health inspections. Anderson County Hospital is a member of St Luke’s Health System, which consists of 11 Kansas City area hospitals and several other clinics.
