OTTAWA – A Senate redistricting plan drawn up by a Republican Johnson County senator has infuriated many conservative Republican senators. That plan, as well as other redistricting plans, was a major topic of the most recent legislative coffee in Ottawa. The Johnson County plan would have an especially hard effect on senators Pat Apple and Jeff King. Part of the coffee will be highlighted in Sunday morning’s “Community Perspective” at 8:04, as well as a special profile of Ottawa High School graduate and Kansas State student and basketball player Victor Ojeleye.
