OTTAWA – The annual Ottawa Spring Fling begins Saturday at 8 a.m. with the Children and Adult’s Health and Volunteer Fair at Ransom Memorial Hospital. A special burrito breakfast for $1 starts at the fair at RMH at 8 and goes to 10:30 a.m. The health fair goes until 11 a.m. and will include a variety of free screenings, information booths, fun activities and fire trucks, police cars and ambulances, and the ever-popular visit by the LifeStar helicopter at approximately 10 a.m., said the hospital’s Brenda Pfitzenmaier. Ottawa University’s baseball will also have a Spring Fling special with free admission to its doubleheader, which begins Saturday afternoon at 1. “Everybody Dance Now” will be 1:30 to 3:45 Sunday afternoon for different age groups at the Ottawa Recreation Center’s Goppert Building. A free screening of the movie “Puss and Boots” will be Sunday afternoon at 2 at the Ottawa Municipal Auditorium.
