OTTAWA – If you’re caught in a vehicle during a tornado, Franklin County emergency management director Alan Radcliffe said you should ditch it for the ditch. Vehicles are dangerous to be caught it and trying to outrun a storm isn’t wise, he said. Nor should motorists seek shelter under bridge underpass. The tornado’s winds blasting under a bridge are even faster, he said.
