OSAWATOMIE — Emerson Drive will headline this year’s John Brown Jamboree and Music Festival. Country music group Emerson Drive has been nominated for the Grammy Award and has hit the charts with songs such as “Moments” and “Let Your Love Speak.” Local country artists Ttravis Marvin and Duke Mason will join Emerson Drive on the bill for the concert June 23. Advance tickets go on sale April 1 at $10. Tickets at the gate are $15. Event organizer Mike Moon said his committee hopes Emerson Drive will yank the annual event out of a rut and bring new life to an old Osawatomie tradition. This year’s jamboree is June 21-24. This year’s theme is “Viva Osawatomie.”
