CARBONDALE — Police officers from the Capital Area Major Case Squad will continue search an area in Osage County northwest of Carbondale where a body was found late Saturday night. Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn said a mushroom hunter found the body in the area of 118th Court and called her department. Deputies found decomposing human remains, including a skull, she said. Officers cordoned off the area and continued searching the area Sunday and will resume the search today. Dunn asks anyone who may have information to call Osage County Crimestoppers at 1-877-OSCRIME.
