OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission agreed Monday to apply for $1.4 million in state money for a $1.9 million three-phase project improving Davis Road and its intersection at K-68. The city seeks to widen the intersection and add turning lanes and signals, as well as drainage work and sidewalks. Because of future traffic projections and the possibility of growth in northeastern Ottawa, Davis Road must be improved, said city manager Richard Nienstedt.
