OSAGE COUNTY – Five are dead, 13 injured as a result of an RV type vehicle pulling a three-axle trailer going off a bridge while traveling northbound on I-35 just inside Osage County southwest of Williamsburg. Of the 13 injured, four were transported to Overland Park Hospital. Of those four, one child was transferred to Children’s Mercy Hospital. All were in critical condition. Three were transported to Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa. Of those, one child was transported to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, while the other two were treated and released. Four were transported to Olathe Medical Center. Two of those four were treated and released. The condition of the other two is unknown. The final two were sent to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. Their condition is also unknown.
