LOUISBURG — The Kansas Highway Patrol has identified the California man who was killed in a head-on crash on U.S. 69 south of Louisburg Thursday morning. Scott Klein, 57, San Clemente, Calif., was driving south when a north-bound van driven by Marilyn Nickell, 45, Drexel, Mo., crossed over the median into the southbound lanes and hit Klein’s car head-on. She was injured and taken to KU Medical Center. Authorities have not said why she went into the wrong lanes.
