KANSAS CITY – A 22-year-old Gardner man has pleaded guilty to child pornography. James Fleshman pleaded guilty to one count of receiving and distributing child pornography. At Fleshman’s plea hearing, prosecutors told the judge that an undercover officer used the Internet to access child pornography contained on Fleshman’s computer, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said. When investigators with a search warrant checked Fleshman’s computer they found more than 600 images of child pornography, Grissom said. Sentencing is July 31. He faces a penalty of not less than five years and not more than 20 years.
