TOPEKA — Kansas Highway Patrol investigators were continuing their investigation into last week’s deadly crash on I-35 in Osage County near Williamsburg that killed five people and injured 13 more. Trooper Don Hughes said inspections were conducted of the Freightliner box truck and its trailer last week and the information will be used for the investigation. The crash is also being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board.
