OTTAWA — A 26-year-old man was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital as a result of a traffic crash on I35 southeast of Ottawa early Saturday morning. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said Ivan Lugo was driving east on I-35 when his van struck a concrete bridge wall and rolled several times. Betty Weidner, 50, Richmond was driving east on i-35 when the accident occurred and her car collided with his van. She wasn’t injured. The sheriff’s office described Lugo’s injuries as minor.
