LYNDON — Several counterfeit one-hundred-dollar bills have surfaced in the Lyndon and Melvern areas, Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn said. She says the bills were used to make purchases at local businesses. It appears the bills are also being passed in Coffey County, she said. She asks anyone with information about the counterfeit bills to contact Osage County Crimestoppers at 1-877-OS-CRIME.
