RICHTER — A grass fire spread to an abandoned house in the 2700 block of Idaho Road south of Richter Tuesday afternoon. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said firefighters from the Lincoln-Ottawa-Harrison Township Fire Department stopped the fire before it severely damaged the structure. The sheriff office said the fire damaged part of the front porch. There was no immediate estimate of damage.
