WELLSVILLE — The Franklin County Sheriff’s department received at least two reports of vandals damaging mailboxes just west of Wellsville Tuesday. A 46-year-old woman reported that her mailbox in the 4500 block of Woodson Road was damaged. The damage was estimated at $10. In the other incident, the mailbox struck back. A 64-year-old man reported someone hit his mailbox in the 4800 block of Vermont Road. However, he said he found parts of the car that hit in the ditch nearby. The damage to the mailbox was estimated at $200.
