WICHITA – Dr. Rebecca Golden Timsar, of Doctors Without Borders will talk about the group and humanitarian aid in African war zones 7 p.m. April 26 at Wichita State University’s Jabara Hall. Her speech is presented by Wichita State’s David and Sally Jackman Scholarly Lecture Series and the Department of Anthropology. Timsar has been head of mission for doctors without borders for almost a decade in Angola, the Congo, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and India. She will discuss the challenges of working in war zones.
