OSAWATOMIE — Trojan Elementary students found there are more to those sticks than holding up Popsicles. The Osawatomie Journal reported that teams of students were recently given 500 of the small wooden sticks, told to make towers and see how much weight they could hold. The winning team of Sammantha Wheatley, Madison Legasse, Marian Curtis, Aaron Gully and Tony Newman built a tower that held up 20 textbooks.
