OTTAWA — OTTAWA — A 20-year-old Ottawa man was booked into the Franklin County jail this week in connection with a crash in which a vehicle hit and damaged a business building in the strip mall in the 1500 block of South Main Street early Saturday morning. Ottawa police said Ethan Autry was driving west between JW Collectables and Pay Day Advance and hit the side of JW Collectables. Police said Autry left the scene. He was later booked into the jail for failure to report an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, and for an outstanding warrant.. Autry also damaged a natural gas line and Ottawa firefighters turned off the gas before a fire occurred, Fire Chief Jeff Carner said.
