WASHINGTON – NASA said annual Lyrid meteor shower will reach its peak this weekend. An astronaut on board the International Space Station and photographers on earth will try the first-ever 3-D photography of meteors from earth and space, Nasa said. The Lyrids aren’t normally as spectacular as other showers but NASA said this will be a good year to look for Lyrids because there will be no competing moon light. Most years, the shower produces about 15 to 20 Lyrids per hour.
