PEORIA – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department received a report this week from a Stilwell-based oil lease operator that a Gardner oil lease operator re-routed an oil pipe from his lease to the other man’s lease in the 3700 block of Utah Terrace northeast of Peoria. Deputy Jarod Fredricks said the matter is being investigated but the process of sorting out details about the oil leases and who’s pipe is who’s will take some time. It may end up being a matter for the civil courts, he said.
