GARNETT – Anderson County Hospital’s eight-week women in training program kicks off Thursday and goes through June 28. The annual event provides women with a supportive and structured exercise regimen to get in shape and stay healthy. The program includes walking and running, cross-training and health tests at the Garnett recreation center and football stadium. Women learn about factors that can affect their fitness and receive helpful tips on a variety of topics from Anderson County Hospital experts. The cost of the program is $35. The program also offers Vitamin D testing for $25 more, with free consultation on results. Child care services will be provided at no cost.
