OTTAWA — The Ottawa city commission will vote on a proposal to rezone the northwest corner of Ninth and Main for a new convenience store Wednesday night. It’s the second time a developer has proposed removing an old church for a commercial development. Last time, neighbors presented a petition opposing the development, requiring the city commission to unanimously approve it but failed to do so. This proposal features a different developer with a different proposal, city manager Richard Nienstedt said. The city commission will meet at 7 p.m.
Tuesday, May 1, 3 p.m.
