OTTAWA — The Take Charge Challenge will be the focus of the PBS documentary series “Earth: The Operator’s Manual.” The Kansas PBS stations will show the program highlighting the Take Charge Challenge beginning Sunday night at 6. The program is called “Energy Quest USA.” In the challenge sponsored by the Climate and Energy Project, 16 Kansas cities competed in four contests to save the most energy. Baldwin City won the competition with Ottawa, Gardner and Paola.
