HANOVER — The Hollenberg Pony Express Station State Historic Site’s visitor center will open next Wednesday, May 9, for the spring and summer through Sept. 29. Visitor center hours are 10 to 5 Wednesday through Saturday. The nature trail is open from dawn to dusk year-round. Admission to the cabin and visitor center is $3 for adults, and $1 for students. Kansas Historical Foundation members and children five and under are free. The site is northeast of Hanover in north-central Kansas.
