OTTAWA — The Old Depot Museum has opened two new exhibits. The first exhibit is a traveling exhibit produced for the U.S. District Court in Kansas and is entitled “Americans by Choice: The Story of Immigration and Citizenship in Kansas.” The exhibit will be at the museum through July 29. The second exhibit is a permanent exhibit and focuses on Ottawa photograher Dad Martin. William “Dad” Martin used trick photography to make popular humorous postcards with outlandishly-sized creatures and crops. The exhibit includes information about Martin and a wall-sized enlargement of one of his exaggerated postcard photos, and another enlargement that has a cutout, so that the young, as well as the young at heart, can place their faces in it for a special photo.
