OTTAWA- Driving while sleepy does no one any favors. Lottie Lenagar, 79, was driving Southbound on I-35 at 15th street when she fell asleep. The car hit the median barrier, then crossed both lanes, went through the guardrail and rolled onto its top. Lottie, and the passenger, Robert Lenagar, 88, were taken to Overland Park Regional. Hospital Spokesperson Chris Hamele says the two are both in serious condition, but they are stable.
