GARNETT — The Garnett Public Library is the best small library in Kansas. The Kansas Library Association cited the library’s creative library services, and annual schedule of programs. Garnett librarian Andrea Sobba said the library got the award even though the association didn’t consider the library’s special 100-year anniversary programs this year. The Anderson County Review reported that in considering the award, outside librarians also noted the library’s location next to Garnett’s picturesque downtown square, and the strong community support for the library.
