OTTAWA — A 26-year-old man suspected of kidnapping an Ottawa woman and taking her to Emporia three weeks ago remains at large. Investigators believe that Jordan Henson is still in the area, based on tips they’ve received, Ottawa police Lt. Adam Weingartner said. The woman, who knew Henson, was taken at knifepoint from her Ottawa home, beaten and robbed before she escaped from her kidnapper in Emporia. The woman’s pickup, which was stolen during the kidnapping, was found abandoned along a rural road near Council Grove in Morris County. Ottawa detectives were in Council Grove last week and this week following up leads, Weingartner said.
