OTTAWA — An Ottawa man received nearly three years of probation with Community Corrections and ordered to pay restitution in connection with a Richmond burglary that ended with a high-speed chase across the county and into Osage County last year. Eric Fox was sentenced recently in Franklin County District Court for non-residential burglary, obstruction of justice, criminal damage to property and theft. He was convicted of stealing tools from a shed in the 900 block of Allen Road. Fox and a Pomona man were accused of running from a neighbor and deputies until the truck they were in crashed in Osage County. Daniel Anspaugh, Pomona, was arrested at the scene and later pleaded guilty in a plea deal involving that and another rural burglary and also received probation. Fox escaped but was picked up later.
