RICHMOND – The Richmond Community Museum will open for its fifth season over the Memorial Day weekend and be open each Saturday and Sunday afternoon, 1-4 p.m. through the Labor Day weekend. The museum will be open extended hours on June 9 for the Richmond High School Alumni Association banquet and is also open anytime on request by calling (785) 835-6598 or (785) 835-6170. Several new artifacts and archival items, are on display, including a framed hair wreath from the 1880s or perhaps earlier, from Bob and Margaret (McCall) Hadsall, Mary Tooley, museum president told the Anderson County Review. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
