OTTAWA — A late night fire caused about $10,000 in damage to a home and contents. Ottawa Fire Chief Jeff Carner said the fire started in a back bedroom in the home of David and Stephanie Moore in the 700 block of South Lincoln Street shortly before midnight Monday. It appears the fire was started accidentally by a burning candle, he said. The family was home when the fire occurred, he said.
