OTTAWA — The Ottawa First United Methodist Church will host a Community Blood Center blood drive Monday afternoon from 2:30 to 6:30 in the large dining room. To make an appointment to donate blood, go on-line to www.esavealifenow.org and use the sponsor code ‘1stunited methodist2’ or call 1-800-279-5943. However, walk-ins are welcome. All registered donors will receive a buy-one-get-one-free ticket voucher for Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Community Blood Center’s Stann Tate said there is a critical need for several blood types right now.
