POMONA — The West Franklin USD 287 school board has scheduled a special meeting for Monday night at 6 at the education center at Pomona The board will start working on a long-range facilities plan. That plan could close schools at Appanoose and Williamsburg and bring all the students to Pomona. The board will also review bids to deal with plumbing problems at West Franklin High School. There will also be an executive session to discuss personnel matters and to interview candidates for the assistant principal at the West Franklin high and middle schools.
