OTTAWA – The Ottawa Optimists duck race is Saturday at noon in Skunk Run at City Park. Contestants can buy their own rubber water fowl for a chance for prizes in the popular fundraiser.
But Optimist Mark Cation said there’s more, including a home-made boat race at about 11:45 a.m. The day begins at 9 with activities including free hot dogs, clowns, moon walk and other games, trucks and helicopter and a visit from KC Wolf.
