OTTAWA — Power was restored to the Ottawa High School and a two- or three-block area this afternoon at about 2:30 after a truck pulling a mobile classroom to Eugene Field Elementary School yanked down lines and snapped a utility pole this morning. City utility director Jim Bradley said the area was without power a little more than five hours. The mobile classroom snagged the line, breaking it and a utility pole just east of 11th and Olive, he said. The electrical line, a telephone and possibly cable TV line were damaged, he said. The trucking company will receive a bill from the city for damages, he said.
