KANSAS CITY — A man suspected of last week’s wild chase through the streets and backyards of Ottawa and along the Prairie Spirit Trail and in Kanza Park has been arrested. Missouri now has a suspect in custody, Ottawa Lt. Adam Weingartner said.
Weingartner said he doesn’t have all the details but apparently the man was involved in involved in a multi-state chase Sunday night in the Kansas City area before he was captured. A pickup truck stolen in Ottawa after the driver hit a house near Kanza Park has been recovered, he said. He said he didn’t know if the truck received any damage.
