OTTAWA — Ottawa firefighters were called to a natural gas leak in the 900 block of North King Street Friday afternoon. Fire Chief Jeff Carner said a vehicle backed into a gas meter, causing a leak. Firefighters turned off gas at the meter and called Gas Service to fix the damage.
