WILLIAMSBURG — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department investigated two separate incidents Monday in which batteries were stolen. A 60-year-old Pomona man reported someone stole three batteries from his Freightliner truck, which was parked in the 100 block of East William Street in Williamsburg. A 75-year-old Lane man reported someone stole four batteries and two fuel tanks from his property in the 400 block of John Brown Road at Williamsburg.
