OTTAWA — The Kansas Department of Revenue is granting a two-week grace period for drivers whose tags expired Friday. The grace period will extend to July 13 and will apply to those with last names starting with H or I, or vehicles with 30-day temporary tags expiring June 30. On Friday, the state’s computerized tag and title system experienced a widespread slowdown on Friday. The revenue department said some counties weren’t able to process some transactions on what was the busiest day of the month.
