OTTAWA — One Franklin County deputy didn’t have far to go to investigate the theft of a political campaign sign from the 2000 block of Old Highway 50 southwest of Ottawa Monday He walked across the office to the sign’s owner, his boss, Sheriff Jeff Curry. The loss was estimated at $40.
