ST. LOUIS — A former Missouri governor received two months of probation sentenced in federal court this afternoon for misusing money to make political donations. Former Democratic Gov. Roger Wilson and disbarred attorney Edward Griesedieck III both pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor campaign fund violation. Prosecutors said they used money from Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance Co., where Wilson was the CEO, to reimburse a $8,000 donation that Griesedieck’s law firm made to the Missouri Democratic Party in August 2009. Wilson served as Missouri governor for three months after the death of Gov. Mel Carnahan in a plane crash.
