WAVERLY — A 47-year-old Leroy man was hospitalized after he and his pickup ended up in the top of an oak tree about six miles south of Waverly.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said Daniel Enright was driving north on Trefoil Rad, when his pickup left the roadway. When he got the truck back on the road, it went across, went through a ditch and went airborne over a fence into a yard, and came to rest on top of an oak tree. He was taken to Coffey County Hospital in Burlington.
