EDGERTON, Mo. – A 31-year old Missouri man was charged this morning with first degree murder in the killings of sisters, 19-year-old Britny Haarup and 22-year-old Ashley Key of Edgerton, Mo. The pair were reported missing Friday and their bodies were discovered in a field on Sunday. Platte County Attorney Eric Zahnd told ABC News that Clifford Miller has been charged with first degree murder. He’s accused to beating the women and then suffocating them, Zahnd said. The man knew the women but authorities wouldn’t say what the connection was. Haarup’s two infant daughters were left in the crib when the sisters disappeared.
