HOMEWOOD — Firefighters from several rural fire departments were fighting a grass fire that had spread to a structure in the 1500 block of Idaho Road south of Homewood. According to initial reports, Idaho Road between John Brown Road and Old Highway 50 was closed because of the fire. Further details weren’t immediately available.
