GARNETT — The strain of keeping cool in 100-degree-plus temperatures means most people have been keeping their air conditioners busy. And the Anderson County Review reported those air conditioners have been keeping air conditioning repairers busy. The newspaper said so many air-conditioning repair companies are so busy, they had difficulty finding someone to comment how busy they are. Hometown Heating & Cooling owner Paul Scobee, Garnett, said people should have their air conditioners cleaned and serviced on a regular basis. But he said it’s best to do that in the spring, not now. For now, use fans in the home to help circulate air around living areas to relieve of the stress on AC units, he said..
