OTTAWA — Three women will be named to the Ottawa High sSchool’s Wall of Honor this year. They are Judith Jamison DuBois, Jean Gillogly McCally and Kathleen Gamet Schulz. Jamison served in the U.S. Foreign Service, serving in several overseas posting including Morroco, Zaire, now called the Democratic Republic of the Congo; and Great Britain, as well as Washington. She is retired and is president of the board of directors of the New York City Fire Museum. McCally taught at Sunflower Elementary School in Paola, and was principal of Garfield Elementary School in Ottawa and was assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction for Ottawa USD 290 at the time of her death last year. Shulz, who received a doctorate in chemical engineering, worked for several high-tech companies including Hewlett-Packard, Rockwell, Lockheed-Martin, California State University of Fresno and the Midwest Research Institute. Now retired, she is now a consultant and a member of the board of directors of the American Chemical Society. The Wall of Honor banquet is Sept. 13. Tickets for the banquet go on sale Aug.13 at Ottawa High School. Tickets are $13 per person.
