CARBONDALE – A Topeka teenager was taken to a Topeka hospital Thursday night after a crash in Osage County. The Kansas Highway Patrol said 16-year-old Zachary Will was driving a pickup south on Paulen Road about 10 miles south of Topeka when he lost control of it. His pickup slid out of control and into the east ditch and struck several trees. Troopers said he wasn’t wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Stormont Vail Medical Center.
