TOPEKA – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment says three lakes in Johnson County remain on a list of Kansas lakes that have dangerous levels of cyanobacteria, commonly called blue-green algae. Antioch Park Lake and South Llake Park in Johnson County remain on the more-serious warning list. The Deanna Rose Farmstead Lake is on the advisory list. The KDHE recommends that people and pets avoid skin contact with the lakes’ water.
